it's your birthday again. i don't remember how old you would be anymore but i don't think it matters.

i finally stopped texting [redated] to check in and see how he's doing on this day every year. it seems to annoy him now.

i don't miss you but i know [redated] does. he deserved a better ending, even if you didn't.

i wonder how long i'll keep doing this... until next time.
