i keep writing and rewriting this over and over again because shit sounds loony. i want to promise you that i haven't completely lost my mind but, fuck, maybe i have because none of this shit makes any sense.

i went to sleep on 11.01.2024 like normal at, i don't know, 11-something at night. i don't remember waking up at all during the night, which is kind of strange but it's not like that never happens. i'm mentioning it half for myself to try and figure out what could have happened. the next morning when i woke up, i did my normal morning bullshit, then went to the bodega to get my usual.

the clerk didn't say "good morning" or ask how i was doing like normal but seemed like he was in a decent mood, smiling and nodding and all that.

i asked him how his morning was going and he just stared at me smiling for a few seconds and then finished scanning my things and gave me my hi-chew like always but normally he says "and i have something for you" with a smile as he hands it to me. he didn't do that. well, he did hand me the candy but he didn't say anything at all and just stared at me. i thanked him and said, "have a good day," like i always do, but didn't get normal response. i thought it was kind of strange considering i have been doing this for, what, 7 months now? and he always says the same things, but only in retrospect did i really think shit was weird.

why am i telling you all of this? because some shit is fucked up and i don't know what's going on.

look, just listen to me and pretend to believe me for just a second: no one is speaking anymore. literally! i haven't heard anyone's voice is 3 days. i'm starting to freak out.

everything else seems normal. i still see people everywhere doing normal day-to-day things but no one will say anything. i talk to people and they just stare at me. i keep trying to make people talk but nothing is working.

i tried calling [redacted] and my mom, but the phones just keep ringing until i finally hang up. i called [redacted], [redacted], the local paper, and the fucking police. just endless ringing. i see people texting on their phones but i've never seen anyone actually make a call. why the fuck does it ring if no one is speaking?

i've emailed probably 50 people, organizations, etc. and no one will even acknowledge what i'm saying. i keep texting [redacted] non-stop and i see the fucking read receipts but no response.

i keep googling different variations of "why is no one speaking" like an idiot but nothing on the internet is even acknowledging this exists. i even tried to find one of those robotic "how to pronounce" videos and they don't fucking exist!

it's erased everything--all of my news podcasts are gone, but the websites still look normal, ALL MUSIC IS FUCKING INSTRUMENTALS.
